The steps to creating your visual identity



Creating your visual identity is a major step in the development of your project.

It represents your activity , its values , its image , its commitment and will allow you to be identified on your various web or print communication media. 


You will have in your hands a complete, unique and impactful brand identity (logo, pictograms, patterns, illustrations) adapted to your target, carrying all the meaning of your company and thought out down to the smallest detail.  


Identifying your needs:

In order to best understand your project, your needs, objectives and issues, we will start with a call or video to discuss your project and what drives it in person. Following this contact, I will send you a questionnaire to find out your intentions, the values of your company, its history, then I will reformulate this information to derive keywords which will be the pillars of the definition of your project , the common thread of your identity.  

Research and initiation of the creation phase:

When I have fully understood your project and its challenges, I will begin the research and creation phase during which I will define one or two artistic orientations, a universe of work which will embody the common thread of your identity.

Once the orientation has been chosen and validated, I will begin the design phase.   


Design of the logo and its graphic universe:

It is during this phase that your identity will take shape: I will expand on the colorimetry chosen previously and will offer you 2 different logos associated with typographies and the beginnings of graphic elements that we will choose and validate together. (2 adjustments and retouches are included in this phase and will lay a solid foundation for the artistic direction)

This will involve creating an authentic, honest, differentiating and memorable visual identity. 

Developing your identity:

Once the final orientation has been chosen and validated, I will develop the entire graphic universe and offer you the graphic styles associated with the logo, patterns, illustrations and elements according to the needs of your project in order to create an iconographic library. These various elements will be applied to different supports such as packaging, menus, cards, signage for restaurants, coffee shops... Instagram feed, web design, stickers, merchandising... (2 final adjustments and touch-ups are included in this phase in order to feel fully in agreement with your visual identity)

Final delivery:

Once all the graphic elements are validated, I will prepare the different files so that you can use them for each of the needs of your business. I will also compose the graphic charter and its user guide to help you use your identity and all its elements optimally. 

Follow up:

I will remain available during the month following delivery of your identity in order to answer your doubts and questions about its use.
